Website theme & Navigation Concepts

While working for Prompt Communications, I was tasked to redesign the look and information architecture of its web presence. After figuring what Prompt wanted to communicate to the user, I was able to create some concepts. While we all agreed on the information that needed to be conveyed, we came to many disagreements over the aesthetics of the site.

Compromises had to be made. I'm not 100% convinced that the final designs were best suited to the client. But in the end, the client gets the final say (especially when they are paying you your weekly wage). The above images are concepts that I came up with before any compromises were made. The new site hasn't been completely coded yet, but when it goes online I'll post a link to it.
